Anyone wishing to use the consultation service of the Dictionary of United States Legal Terminology (English-Spanish) offered in this website must be registered by filling out a personal data sheet and providing the data of their credit or debit card, for the purpose of: (a) allowing access to the website by the user; (b) paying for the service by using said credit or debit card, and (c) issuing an invoice for the payment made, in accordance with the applicable Mexican tax regulations, when so requested by the user.
  2. The personal data provided by the user will allow the Author to: (a) know the identity of the user; (b)receive and allocate the payments made; (c) keep in touch with the user; (d) identify anyone who posts questions, comments and opinions with respect to the contents of the website; (e) from time to time, send user information that may be of interest, and (f) use such information for any other purpose related to, or consistent with, the above mentioned purposes.
  3. Whenever a user surfs our website, non-personal information may be collected by cookies, DNS records, and web beacons, which is collected by the mere use or interaction with our website. Such information is only collected to generate statistical information of website visits, user profiles, usage time and reference pages which may have directed the user to our website. However, such devices may be disabled by following the instructions on your browser, though this could affect our website by not functioning properly.
  4. The Author has no intention of transferring the users’ personal data and maintains security measures necessary to protect the personal data against loss, alteration, or destruction and to prevent any nonauthorized use.

At a written request sent to the Author, at the address first above written or to the email address support@spanishdictionaryjfbecerra.com, a user, as the personal data holder, may exercise the rights of access, ratification, cancellation and opposition as provided by law and may revoke the consent granted for the personal data processing, as well as restrict their use or disclosure.
